I called Bonnie this afternoon and she actually sounds worse than yesterday. (Sorry Bonnie, but you do). She did see the doctor today and they confirmed pneumonia. By tonight she will be on good meds. Hopefully she'll start to feel better in a day or two.
Tom's procedure this morning went well. They vacuumed out the veins in the left leg and put a compression stocking on the right leg. Bonnie isn't sure how the toes are looking as they have been covered up. She does think some of the swelling has gone down already, which is a really, really good sign.
Hopefully tomorrow Tom will get moved into a regular room again. Bonnie said his mood was a bit funky today, maybe a tad overwhelmed by everything that has been going on.
Take care everyone. I'll update again when I hear more news.
